A) Remove the front bumper.
b) Disconnect connector "1R" (IN) sound signal and remove the siren.
V) Apply battery voltage to the siren terminals as shown in the figure and check that the horn works.
Note: the sound signal is designed in such a way as to be used as a "masses" body side frame. If the conductivity between the body side frame and the bumper is broken, "weight" disappears and the buzzer does not work.
2. Checking the horn switch.
A) Remove the steering column cover.
b) Disconnect coiled wire (A) from connector "5R" (IN).
V) Check the continuity between the terminals in each switch position as shown in the table.
If there is continuity, the switch is OK.
If there is no conductivity, follow the next step.
G) Remove the driver's airbag.
d) Disconnect connector "5R" horn switch. Check continuity between pin "2" connector and spiral wire (A).
If there is continuity, replace the steering wheel.
If there is no continuity, replace the coiled wire.
