2. Install and adjust the spiral wire.
- a) Install the spiral wire.
- b) Turn the spiral wire clockwise until it stops.
- c) Turn the spiral wire counterclockwise three turns.
- d) Align the marks (B) on the spiral wire (A) and the steering column.

Right hand drive models.

4 - steering mechanism,
5 - steering rod end,
6 - steering gear cover,
7 - tie rod end fastening nut,
8 - driver's airbag,
9 - steering rod end cover.
Right hand drive models.
3. Turn the bushing (A) so that when installing, the protrusions (B) on the bushing align with the grooves (C) on the steering wheel hub.
4, Align the pins (D) with the holes (E) in the steering wheel and install the steering wheel.
5. Tighten the steering wheel mounting bolt (A).
- Tightening torque - 39 Nm
6. Connect the horn connector.
7. Install the driver's airbag (see chapter "Supplementary Restraint System (SRS)").
8. Make sure that the horn and direction indicators are working properly.
