Warning: Careless handling of the air bag may cause it to deploy unintentionally, which may cause serious injury. Before removing the air bag, read the Operation and Maintenance Precautions section in Chapter "Supplementary Restraint System (SRS)".
1. Set the wheels to the straight ahead position.
2. Remove the driver's airbag (see chapter "Supplementary Restraint System (SRS)").
3. Disconnect the horn connector (A).
Left-hand drive models.
Right hand drive models.
4. Loosen the steering wheel mounting bolt (B),
5. Install the special tool (A) and loosen the steering wheel.
6. Remove the special device.
7. Unscrew the nut and remove the steering wheel.
