Caution: Do not disassemble the seat belt pretensioner.
Note: check the seat belts after installation (see relevant subsection).
Caution: Improper use of the front seat belts can accidentally trigger the seat belt pretensioner and injure you (see chapter "Manual'').
Note: Before carrying out work, read the chapter "Passive safety system (SRS)".
1. Turn the key in the ignition switch to position "LOCK".
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.
3. Move the front seats as far forward as possible.
4. Remove the bolt (A) lower anchorage of the front seat belt.
- Tightening torque - 32 Nm
5. Remove the bottom trim of the B-pillar (see section "Interior trim").
6. Remove the cover (A) bolt (IN) front seat belt top anchor as shown in the illustration and remove the bolt.
- Tightening torque - 32 Nm
7. Disconnect connector (A). Loosen the screw (IN) and bolt (WITH) pretensioner mountings (E) seat belt (D) and then remove the seat belt and pretensioner.
Torque:
- screw - 4 Nm
- bolt - 32 Nm
8. Remove the upper trim of the central pillar (see section "Interior trim").
9. Turn away bolts (A) and remove the regulator (IN) the height of the anchor point for the front seat belt.
- Tightening torque - 22 Nm
10. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.

11. After installation, turn the key in the ignition switch to position "ON" and check that the airbag/pretensioner indicator light (SRS) lights up and goes out after 6 seconds. If the indicator does not turn off, then the system is faulty.
