Caution: Do not disassemble the seat belt pretensioner.
Note: Check the seat belts after installation (see relevant subsection).
Warning: If the front seat belts are not used correctly, the seat belt pretensioner may accidentally activate and injure you (see chapter "User manual").
Note: Before carrying out work, read the chapter "Supplementary Restraint System (SRS)".
1. Turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" position.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 3 minutes.
3. Move the front seats as far forward as possible.
4. Remove the bolt (A) of the lower front seat belt mount.
- Tightening torque - 32 Nm

5. Remove the lower center pillar trim (see section "Interior trim").
6. Remove the cover (A) of the front seat belt upper anchor bolt (B) as shown in the illustration, and loosen the bolt.
- Tightening torque - 32 Nm

7. Disconnect the connector (A). Remove the screw (B) and bolt (C) securing the seat belt pretensioner (E) (D), and then remove the seat belt and pretensioner.
Tightening torque:
- screw - 4 Nm
- bolt - 32 Nm

8. Remove the upper center pillar trim (see section "Interior trim").
9. Loosen the bolts (A) and remove the front seat belt anchor point height adjuster (B).
- Tightening torque - 22 Nm

10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Upper seat belt anchorage.
Lower seat belt anchorage.
11. After installation, turn the ignition key to the "ON" position and check that the air bag/seat belt pretensioner (SRS) indicator comes on and goes out after 6 seconds. If the indicator does not go out, the system is faulty.
