Warning! If the car stereo system is equipped with a security code, make sure you have the correct combination to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!
2. The heater fan assembly is located under the vehicle's instrument panel, behind the glove compartment, near the engine compartment bulkhead. The assembly includes a drive electric motor, a resistor unit, and a closed-circuit mode activation motor.
3. Disconnect the drive motor wiring connector and remove the three mounting screws. Remove the motor.
4. If the motor is to be replaced, disconnect it from the fan impeller - use needle-nose pliers to release and remove the retainer. Transfer the impeller to the new motor assembly.
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the proper functioning of the fan.
