Checking the hazard warning switch
1. Remove the center panel (see chapter Body).
2. Disconnect the 10-pin connector from the switch.
3. Press out the switch from the back of the instrument cluster panel.

4. Check the conductivity between the various contacts in each switch position and make sure that there is conductivity only between the contacts connected by the lines in the table.
Checking the relay input signals
1. Remove the turn signal/hazard flasher relay from the driver's side fuse box.
2. Check the signals below. If all signals are normal and the turn signal/hazard warning lights do not work, replace the relay.
