1. Fix the brake disc securely with the wheel nuts. Use suitable flat washers to prevent damage to the conical sections of the wheel nuts.
2. Place the indicator on the disc at a distance of approx. 10 mm from its edge, as shown in the figure.
3. Slowly turn the disc by hand and measure its runout. The value of the beat is equal to the difference between the maximum and minimum deviations of the needle.
- Limit runout: 0.10 mm
4. If the runout exceeds the limit value, check the hub bearing. If the bearing is OK, grind the brake disc.
