1. Securely fasten the brake disc with the wheel nuts. To avoid damaging the conical areas of the wheel nuts, use suitable flat washers.
2. Place the indicator on the disc at a distance of approximately 10 mm from its edge, as shown in the figure.
3. Slowly rotate the disk by hand and measure its runout. The runout value is equal to the difference between the maximum and minimum deviations of the pointer.

- Limit runout: 0.10 mm
4. If the runout exceeds the limit value, check the hub bearing. If the bearing is normal, grind the brake disc.
