Locations for jacking
Jack installation
1. The vehicle must be on a level and firm surface.
2. Firmly apply the parking brake and block the wheel on the other side of the diagonally punctured front and rear using, for example, stones.
3. Place the jack on the ground, rotate the jack by hand until the groove is in place.
4. Using the handle and adapter, raise the vehicle until the wheel is slightly off the ground.
Attention! The vehicle being jacked up is in an unstable position, so it is dangerous to be under the vehicle at this moment.
Attention! For the safe use of the jack, you must:
- Stop the engine.
- The ground surface must be firm and level.
- Do not lift a loaded vehicle.
- There should be no objects above or below the jack.
- Do not use the jack except when changing tires or putting on snow chains.
Instruction. Only use the jack supplied with your vehicle. Other jacks may differ in lifting power or shape.
