2. Remove the radio receiver panel.
3. Disconnect the 2-pin connector from the cigarette lighter.
4. Check the connector pins to make sure they make good contact.
- If the contacts are bent, loose, or rusted, repair and recheck the system.
- If the contacts look good, go to step 5.
5. Turn the ignition key to the ON position (II) and check the voltage between pins #2 and #1.
- There should be battery voltage.
- If there is no battery voltage, check:
- Is fuse #18 blown? (15 A) in the fuse/relay box under the dash.
- Bad grounding (G401, G402).
- Is there a break in the wire.
6. If the test went well, replace the cigarette lighter.
