Note: Wear protective gloves when removing and installing the outer handle.
1. Raise the glass fully.
2. Remove:
- Door panel (see above)
- Plastic lid (if necessary)
3. Remove the screws from the lock.

4. Disconnect the cylinder rod. Remove the retaining clip, then remove the lock cylinder.

5. Unscrew the bolts.
6. Remove the protective cover from the outer handle.

7. Remove the outer handle. Pry the outer handle rod up and away from the hinge using a pair of slanted pliers.
Note:
- To facilitate assembly, measure the distance (A) on the hinge before disconnecting the outer handle rod.
- Do not bend the outer handle rods.
- Protect the door opening with a napkin.

8. Replace the bushing on the outer handle.

9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Make sure the connector is inserted correctly and connect all the rods.
- Make sure the door locks and unlocks properly.
- When installing the lock cylinder, leave the outer handle bolts loose so that the inner protective cover does not interfere with the installation of the lock cylinder.
- Place the lock cylinder retaining clip onto the handle, then install the lock cylinder. Make sure the clip is fully seated in the slot on the lock cylinder.
