A) Remove a combination of devices and disconnect sockets.
b) Check the system as shown in the table "Checking the remote control system of the central lock" (see picture from paragraph "Checking the backlight control system", section "Backlight control system").
If the system does not work correctly, replace the instrument cluster.
2. Checking the system unit: remote control of the central lock.
Note: If the system does not work correctly, check the remote control first.
A) Remove the driver's door trim.
b) Loosen the nuts securing the fuse block.
V) Remove the fuse box, thereby providing yourself with a working space.
G) Disconnect connector "5R" (IN) from the receiver (A).
d) Check system operation as shown in the table "Checking the central locking remote control unit".
If the result is not as described, replace the receiver.
3. Checking the central locking switch.
A) Remove the driver's door trim.
b) Disconnect connector "3R" (IN) from the blocking drive (A).
V) Check the continuity between the terminals in each switch position as shown in the table.
4. Checking the door lock drive.
A) Remove the driver's door trim.
b) Disconnect connector "2R" (IN) from the blocking drive (A).
V) Apply battery voltage to the connector pins and check the operation of the drive.
Note: Battery voltage should only be applied once to prevent damage to the drive.
