2. Remove the protective screen.
a) Disconnect the windshield washer hose (see section "Removal and installation the hood ventilation grille").
b) Using a puller, disconnect the pins (A) and clamps (B), then remove the protective screen (C).
3. Using a puller, disconnect the clips (A), then remove the front hood seal (B).
4. Remove the hood lock.
a) (Left hand drive models) Disconnect the piston, clips (A) and remove the cover (C) from the hood lock (B).
b) Loosen the bolts (A) and disconnect the lock from the body.
- Tightening torque - 9.8 Nm
c) Disconnect the hood lock drive cable (C) from the lock.
5. Remove the hood lock drive lever.
a) Remove the front side trim (see section "Removal and installation of interior trim").
b) Loosen the bolts (A), then remove the hood lock actuator lever (B).
- Tightening torque - 9.8 Nm

c) Disconnect the hood lock drive cable (C).
6. Remove the hood lock drive cable (see figure) "Removal the hood lock drive cable").
a) Remove the mudguard liner (see section "Removal and installation the mudguard").
b) Remove the front side trim (see section "Interior trim").
c) Disconnect the hood lock drive cable (B) from the lock (A) and from the lever (C).
d) Using a puller, disconnect the clamps (D and H).
d) Remove the seal (I).
e) Peel off the adhesive tape (G) and disconnect the hood lock actuator cable from the wiring harness (E) and from the windshield washer hose (F).
g) Pull the cable through the hole.
7. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the hood lock, apply grease as shown in the figure.
