1. Fold the rear seatback forward. Pull back the corners of the seat cushion to gain access to the bolts securing the side seatback trim panels. Remove the panels.
2. Release the clamps and carefully lift and remove the rear shelf trim panel.
3. From inside the luggage compartment, release the two fasteners and remove the high-level brake light from the rear shelf.
4. Now the shelf can be removed from its seat and pulled into the car interior.
Note: If there is a need to replace the shelf, the anchor bracket of the shoulder section of the central seat belt should be unbolted from the body element. If the shelf is removed in order to provide access to the antenna amplifier fastener, the belt can be left in its regular place.
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
