Fusible links are the main protective elements for a number of high voltage circuits. The fuse links on HONDA are located in the box under the hood and in the relay box. On early models, they are strips of the appropriate metal fixed between two clamps. The thickness and length of the strip determine the withstand current. To replace the insert, turn off the ignition, unscrew the bolt from the defective insert and install a new one. On later models, inserts appear approximately the same size as the fuses. These are square boxes with a small hole at the top. By direct measurement, you can determine the strength of the current passed through them, usually 50 or 80 amperes. They are removed in the same way as the fuses. If the connection is interrupted, it is because of the large current passing through the circuit. A reason should be found so that the new insert does not quickly fail.
