Relay — General Description (Honda Accord 3)

As the car becomes more electrical and electronic, the number of relays used in new models is steadily increasing. Many relays are located on the relay board and fuse board under the dashboard or in the engine compartment. However, many relays are located inside the car in close proximity to the component being controlled. When checking an electrical circuit, a faulty relay is often suspected as the cause of the failure until another cause is found. Sometimes a hard blow with a screwdriver handle on the relay will free the jammed parts and the system will start working. This does not happen often, but if you can do it, you will probably brag about it for weeks.
