Seat belts and pretensioners — removal and installation (Honda Avancier 1)

Attention.

• Before starting work, disconnect the cables from the battery and wait at least 3 minutes.
• Replace the seat belt together with the pretensioner, see chapter Body.

Removal

1. Unscrew the lower anchor bolt (fastening from the threshold side) and remove the lower trim of the central pillar, see chapter Body.

2. Disconnect the TR1 (right side) or TL1 (left side) connector.



3. Remove the cover of the upper anchor bolt and unscrew it.

4. Loosen the ET screw and the seat belt reel bolt and remove it.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the upper and lower anchor bolts, as well as the coil bolt and ET screw, to the required torque.



After installation, connect the cables to the battery and perform the following check:

• Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position and check that the SRS indicator light comes on and goes out after 6 seconds.
