Rear Brake Discs — Checking Runout (Honda Avancier 1)

1. Securely fasten the brake disc with the wheel nuts. To avoid damaging the conical parts of the nuts, use flat washers.

2. Place the indicator approximately 10mm from the edge of the disc as shown in the figure.

Rotate the disc slowly by hand and measure the disc runout.

• Limit runout: 0.10 mm

4. If the runout is greater than the limit, check the hub bearing. If the bearing is OK, grind the disc.
