Note: Avoid scratching the body and adjacent components.
1. Remove the front bumper (see above).
2. Remove the bolts, then remove the hood latch. Disconnect the hood release cable from the hood latch.
3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Apply grease to the areas of the hood latch indicated by the arrows.
- Make sure the hood release cable is connected correctly.
- Adjust the position of the hood latch (see above).
- Make sure the hood is securely latched.
