a) Remove the steering column cover.
b) Disconnect the low/high beam switch terminal from the "16P" connector terminal.
c) Unscrew the two screws and remove the switch.
d) Check the continuity between the terminals in each switch position. (See tables "Lighting control switch", "Turn signal switch", "Fog light switch").

2. Adjusting the optical axis of the headlights.
Note: Before performing adjustment operations, please follow the conditions:
- There is a passenger (about 55 kg) in the driver's seat.
- There are no passengers in the back seat.
- The car is parked on a level surface.
a) Turn on the front fog lights.
b) Make sure that the distance from the fog lights to the center point of the light spot is less than 40 m.
c) If the result is not as described, adjust the optical axis of the fog lights using the adjusting screw as shown in the figure.

3. Checking the brake light switch.
a) Remove relay block No.16 and check the condition of the fuses and their fastening.
- Check the operation of the brake lights after replacing the fuses.
- If the brake lights do not work correctly, complete the following point.
b) Disconnect the brake light switch (A) from the 4-pin connector (B).

c) Check the conductivity between the switch terminals in each of its positions, as shown in the table.
