Removal and installation the passenger weight sensor (left-hand drive models) (Honda Fit 1)

Note:
  • Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
  • Be careful not to damage the wiring harness during assembly.


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 3 minutes.

2. Remove the front passenger seat.

3. Remove the upholstery from the seat.

4. Loosen the bolts and separate the seat mounting rails together with the weight sensors.

2 - sensor connectors,
3 - seat mounting rail,
4 - weight sensor.

  • Tightening torque - 14 Nm

5. Disconnect the weight sensor connectors from the passenger presence control unit and remove the weight sensors.
