1. Turn on the ignition ("ON").

2. Check the voltage between terminals "1" ("+") and "2" ("-") of the sensor connector under different lighting conditions.

Voltage:
  • sensor not illuminated - 3.6 - 3.7 V
  • sensor illuminated - 3.3 - 3.5 V

Note: As the illumination increases, the voltage between the sensor connector terminals decreases.
