Examination
1. Check the pulse generators on the front and rear wheels for chips or damage to the teeth.
2. Measure the air gap between the wheel sensor and the pulse generator around the entire circumference while rotating the pulse generator. If the air gap is greater than 1.0 mm, check whether the suspension arm is bent.
Standard: Front/Back: 0.4-1.2mm.
Replacing wheel sensors
Install the sensors carefully without twisting the wires.
In front. When installing the front wheel sensor, pass the sensor between the steering knuckle and the brake hose. 1. steering knuckle; 2. bolt 8 mm, 22 Nm (2.2 kgf/m); 3. sensor wire; 4. wheel sensor; 5. brake hose; 6. bolt 6-mm, 9.8 Nm (1.0 kgf/m) |
