Installing an oil separator (Honda Fit 1)

1. Clean the damper contact surfaces, bolts and bolt holes.

2. Apply a continuous bead of sealant 1.5mm in diameter to the damper.

Note: The parts must be installed within the time specified in the sealant application instructions. Otherwise, the sealant must be removed and reapplied.

3. Install the oil separator and tighten its mounting bolts to the specified tightening torque.
