Position "ON"

The lamp works regardless of whether the doors are open or closed.

Central position

Lights up when the doors are opened and goes out after closing.

In addition, the light comes on and then goes out in the following cases: when the driver's door is unlocked (Welcome function), when the key is removed from the ignition switch.

If you turn off the lamp, it gradually decreases in brightness and then goes out.

Position "OFF"

The lamp does not light in any door position.

Note:
  • In the following cases, when the lamp is switched off, it immediately goes out without gradually decreasing brightness: when the driver's door is locked. When the driver's door is closed with the key inserted into the ignition switch.
  • If the key is inserted into the ignition switch, the light does not come on after the driver's door is unlocked.
