Checking the seat belt tensioner (Honda Avancier 1)

1. Remove the center lower trim (see chapter Body) and disconnect the 2-pin connector from the seat belt tensioner.

2. Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position.

3. Check the voltage between terminals No.1 (+) and No.2 (-) and make sure that voltage is present only when the belt is fastened.



If there is voltage and the seat belt pretensioner does not operate normally, replace the pretensioner.

If there is no voltage, perform the following check: Functionality of the seat belt switch.

• Quality of the "mass" (G551, G581).
• No breaks in the electrical wiring and reliable connection of the connector.
