Withdrawal
1. Pull up on the ABS control unit 25-track connector and disconnect the connector.
2. Disconnect 6 brake pipes.
3. Remove 2 nuts (6 mm).
4. Remove the modulator assembly.
Attention.
- Be careful not to get brake fluid on paintwork. If it does get on the paintwork, immediately wash it off with water.
- Do not damage or deform the brake pipes during removal and installation.
- Install plugs on the pipes to prevent brake fluid from spilling out.
Installation
1. Install the modulator assembly, screw and tighten the 2 nuts (6 mm).
Insert the 4-pointed heads of the fixing bolts into the grooves of the bracket.
2. Connect 6 brake pipes.
Attention. Do not mix up the tube connections.
3. Align the connecting surfaces of the 25-track connector of the ABS control unit and press it until it clicks.
4. Bleed the brake system.
Attention. Pumping starts from the front wheels.
5. Start the engine and make sure that the ABS and brake warning lights go out.
6. Perform a test drive and make sure that the ABS and brake system warning lights do not light up.
