Removal and installation
1. Remove the sensor from the instrument panel and disconnect the connector.
Do not damage the instrument panel.
2. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position, connect the (+) tester probe to contact #1 (orange wire), and (-) to contact #2 (light green wire). Measure the voltage:
- Cover the sensor with your palm to prevent light from falling on it: 3.6-3.7V
- Remove your palm so that the light falls on the sensor: 3.3-3.5V
The change in voltage cannot be checked using electric light, etc.
