Replacing the rear seat cover (Honda HR-V 1)

Note:

• Do not tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
• Wear protective gloves.

Backrest cover

1. Remove the backrests (see above).

2. Remove head restraints, if equipped.

3. Loosen the screws and remove the clamp, then remove the backrest latch cover.



4. Remove the latch lever cover.



5. Unhook the hooks and unzip the cover, then fold back the seat cover.



6. Remove the backrest frame, then remove the headrest guides.





7. Bend back the edge of the back cover along the entire perimeter and unhook the clips, then remove the cover from the back.



8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:

• To avoid creasing when applying the cover to the seat back, ensure that the material is evenly distributed over the padding before engaging the clips, hooks and inner springs.
• Replace the removed clamps with new ones using upholstery crimping pliers (available commercially).

Seat cushion cover

1. Remove the seat cushion.

2. Unhook all clamps.



3. Fold back the seat cushion cover around the entire perimeter and unhook the clips and hooks from the padding.



4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:

• To avoid wrinkles when applying the cover to the seat cushion, make sure the material is evenly distributed over the padding before securing the clips, hooks and inner springs.
• Replace the removed clamps with new ones using upholstery crimping pliers (available commercially).
