Attention. Do not open the radiator cap on a hot engine. The coolant is under pressure and may spill out. After the coolant has cooled down, cover the cap with a cloth and slowly open it.
1. Install the 2-radiator cap tester on the cap, pressurize (before valve opening) and check if the pressure is held for 6 sec.
Attention. Before installing the tester on the cover, apply coolant to the seal.
- Pressure: 93-123 kPa (0.95-1.25 kg/cm2)
2. If the valve opening pressure is abnormal or the pressure is not maintained, replace the radiator cap.
