Since there are components of the additional passive safety system near the floor covering, during the work see chapter Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).

Attention.
  • Perform work wearing gloves.
  • Avoid damaging the instrument panel, interior trim components, and removable components. Also, avoid bending or damaging the floor covering.


Remove the following components:

Front seats (see below).

Rear seat cushions (see below).

Side bonnet trims (see above).

Front side trims (see above).

Rear side trims (see above).

Lower B-pillar trims (see above).

Front seat belt lower anchor bolts (see below).

Lower center trim (see below).

Fuel filler door opener cover (see below).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Check the latches for damage and replace them if necessary.

Secure components with latches and clamps to avoid gaps.

Make sure there are no folds, no twists, and the mounting holes are not shifted, and then install the removed components.

Properly route seat wiring through the floor covering openings.

Before tightening the seat belt anchor bolts, make sure they are not twisted.
