Compressor — removal and installation (Honda Avancier 1)

1. Start the engine, let the air conditioning system run for a few minutes and turn off the engine?

2. Discharge the refrigerant.

3. Remove the air conditioning compressor belt, see chapter Mechanical part of the engine.

4. Loosen the bolts and disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses.

Caution: After disconnecting the hoses, seal the holes with plugs.

5. Disconnect the compressor clutch connector, unscrew the bolts and remove the compressor.



6. Loosen the bolts and nuts and remove the compressor bracket.



7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.

• Replace the O-rings of the tubes with new ones and lubricate them with compressor oil (ND-OIL8) before installation.
• After installation, check the operation of the air conditioner.

Adjusting the oil level when replacing the compressor

1. Prepare 2 measuring cylinders.

2. Drain the oil from the removed compressor into cylinder A.

3. Drain the oil from the new compressor into cylinder B.

4. Pour off excess oil from container B as shown in the figure.

5. Fill the oil from cylinder B into the new compressor.
