Removal and installation the rear seat (Honda Avancier 1)

Avoid staining the seat trim while working.

Avoid damaging interior trim components and bodywork.

When using a screwdriver, protect the components with protective tape or cloth. Also, wrap the screwdriver with tape so as not to damage the components.

The illustration shows the right seat back and right (sliding) cushion, as well as the non-sliding cushion. Removal and installation of the left seat back and left cushion are similar to the right ones.

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
  • Check the clamps for damage and replace with new ones if necessary.
  • Before tightening the lower seat belt anchor bolts, make sure they are not twisted.
  • Correctly install the backrest latch clips into the cushion frame (sliding models only).
  • Install the seat belt buckles correctly.
  • Make sure the backrest is securely locked in place.
