If you primarily operate your vehicle under one or more of the following special conditions, more frequent maintenance may be required for some items on the maintenance schedule.

1. Road conditions.
  • a) Operation on bumpy, muddy or snow-covered roads.
  • b) Operation on dusty roads.
  • c) Operation on roads sprinkled with anti-icing salt.

2. Driving conditions.
  • a) Towing a trailer or using the roof rack of a vehicle.
  • b) Repeated short trips less than 10 km in outside temperatures below freezing.
  • c) Excessive idling and/or driving at low speed for long distances.

Note: P - check and/or adjust (repair or replace if necessary);
3 - replacement; R - adjustment; C - lubrication; M3 - tightening to the specified torque.
6/24 - time in months: 6 - frequency of inspection, 24 - frequency of replacement.


Note 1. It is recommended to replace "iridium" spark plugs if there are signs of failure.


Note 2: When operating in severe road conditions, perform maintenance more frequently
  • a) Operation on dusty roads.
  • b) Excessive idling and/or driving at low speed for long distances.
  • c) Repeated short trips of less than 10 km at outside temperatures below 0°C.


Note 3: When operating on dusty roads, perform maintenance more frequently.




Note 4: When operating in severe road conditions, mountainous terrain or in humid climates, perform maintenance once a year.


Note 5: When using genuine Honda All Season Antifrezee/Coolant Type 2, the manufacturer recommends the first replacement at 200,000 km or 10 years. Subsequent replacements are recommended at 100,000 km or 5 years.
