- Wear gloves when working.
- Do not apply excessive force to the protective molding.
- If the molding is bent, repair it.
- Do not damage the doors or removable components.
- Protect the paintwork from damage with fabric tape.
To remove the molding, lift the glass, remove the door trim and plastic film (see above), grab the clips from the inside of the door and remove them.
