Align the seal center mark shown in the illustration; with the center of the opening in the body and install the seal.
Before installing the seal, clean the mounting surface of the body with clean gasoline or alcohol, and apply sealant around the entire perimeter of the seal.
After installing the seal, be sure to check the rear door for leaks. While checking, squeeze the end of the hose.
