Note: Use the same support points to support the vehicle on the safety stands.

2. Position the jack bracket in the center of the jack platform


Lift and safety stands



1. Install the lifting blocks as shown in the figure.

2. Raise the lift a few centimeters, rock the car and make sure it is supported securely.

3. Raise the lift to its full height and check that the pads are firmly seated at the lifting points.

Floor jack



1. Apply the parking brake and chock the wheels that will not be lifted.

2. When raising the rear of the vehicle, move the gearshift lever to the reverse position (on vehicles with CVT/Honda Multi Matic, to the P position).



3. Raise the vehicle so that safety stands can be placed underneath.

4. Adjust and position the safety stands so that the vehicle is almost level, then lower the vehicle onto them.

Warning:
  • When working on/under a vehicle that is supported only by a jack, install safety stands.
  • Do not attempt to lift or support the vehicle by the bumpers.
