Checking the remote audio system switch (Honda Avancier 1)

1. Unscrew 2 screws.

2. Disconnect the 2-pin connector and remove the switch.

3. Measure the resistance between contacts No.1 and No.2 in different switch positions.


If the switch is OK but the audio control is abnormal, check the green-red wire between the audio unit and the remote switch for a break. If the wire is intact, check the continuity between contact #1 of the switch and the ground contact.
